Terms of Service
The basic terms for scheduling, buying, and using Mont Clay Tech services.
These Terms of Service apply when you use this website, submit a request, schedule service, purchase products or services, or work with Mont Clay Tech ("we," "us," and "our"). By using our services, you agree to these terms.
Services
Mont Clay Tech provides home technology help, installation and setup, remote support, business technology support, website and brand work, consulting, and related software or operational services.
Scheduling and Access
You agree to provide accurate contact information, service details, and access needed to complete the requested work. For in-person visits, please make sure the work area, devices, power, internet, and any required account access are available when we arrive.
Remote Support
Remote support may involve screen sharing, camera sharing, or guided troubleshooting. You are responsible for choosing what to show or share during a session. We may stop a session if the issue is outside our scope, unsafe, unlawful, or not reasonably supportable remotely.
Payments and Equipment
Prices, deposits, and payment timing may vary by service. Some installations or projects may require payment or deposit before equipment is ordered or work begins. Unless otherwise stated in writing, equipment purchased for you belongs to you after payment is complete.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Missed appointments, late cancellations, special-order equipment, or work already performed may affect refunds or fees. Project-specific agreements may include additional cancellation terms.
Service Scope
We do our best to diagnose issues and provide reliable recommendations, but technology depends on many outside factors, including internet providers, manufacturers, platforms, software updates, electrical conditions, and third-party services. We are not responsible for outages, defects, policy changes, or failures caused by third parties.
Accounts, Passwords, and Data
You are responsible for your accounts, passwords, backups, subscriptions, files, and data. We may guide you through account or device steps, but you should avoid sharing passwords unless there is a clear need and you understand the risk.
Business, Website, and Consulting Work
For business services, websites, software setup, or consulting, deliverables, timelines, revisions, ownership, hosting, maintenance, and payment terms may be defined in a separate proposal, invoice, or written agreement. If a separate agreement conflicts with these general terms, the separate agreement controls for that work.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mont Clay Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or third-party service failures. Our total liability for a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services for unlawful activity, abuse, harassment, unauthorized access, fraud, or attempts to bypass security or platform rules. We may refuse or stop service when a request is unsafe, unlawful, or outside our professional judgment.
Updates
We may update these terms as our services change. The effective date above shows when this version became active.
